The daily hire charges include unlimited kilometres and GST (12.5%) charges.

All charges are calculated on a daily basis for motorhomes and campervans. Vehicles are available at 8.30am on the day you commence your hire and must be returned by 4.00pm at the termination of the hire, pick up and drop off outside of these hours by prior arrangement.

A deposit is required to secure the booking. The balance of monies owing is due when you pick up the vehicle.

A compulsory insurance charge (included in the quoted price) covers your hire vehicle, third party and public liability insurance to a pre-determined amount. The hirer is liable for the first bond/excess amount of any damage caused in any one accident. The bond paid at the commencement of the hire is to cover this.

All hirers are subject to a bond/excess payable at the commencement of hire. This bond is fully refundable if the vehicle has not been involved in an accident, and is returned in a reasonably clean and undamaged condition. It is company policy to take a signed imprint of a credit card for the bond.

Insurance charge per day can reduce the Bond and a further charge can reduce the Bond to Nil.

For all rentals there is a minimum period of five (5) days. It is possible to commence your hire in Christchurch and finish it in Auckland (or vice versa) at no extra charge if the rental period is a minimum of fourteen (14) days.

All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel at the start of the hire and must be returned with a full tank at the end of your hire.

We shall make every effort to provide the vehicle you requested but where a vehicle is unavailable for any reason we reserve the right to provide a comparatively high standard vehicle at no extra cost to you. Whilst including the same facilities, vehicle layouts may vary slightly to those shown due to manufacturer design changes.

All drivers must be 21 years of age or older and hold a current valid drivers licence. The licience has to be produced at the start of hire. An international or country of origin licence is acceptable. No special licence is required to drive a motor home in New Zealand.

Depots are currently located, near motorways, in both Christchurch and Auckland. All hires commence and finish at our depots.

Tasman Motorhomes will either met you at the Airport or arrange a Taxi/shuttle to transfer you to our depot. This allows you to transfer at your convenience. The transfer on vehicle pickup is complimentary.

Any traffic infringements are the responsibility of the hirer.

Regretfully no refunds can be given for any unused portion of your holiday.
