South Pacific Motorcycle Tours is a family-run, highly professional New Zealand business, owned by us, Carole and Mike Lester. Motorcycles in our family go way back, for generations, and still today nearly all of us have a bike of some description. Mike, your tour guide, is an extremely experienced, knowledgeable motorcyclist, trained by the Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists. He has been leading motorbike tours for over fifteen years, is an expert in his field, and knows all those 'must-do' roads inside-out.

We run the motorbike tours around New Zealand from our superb Bed & Breakfast in the country, Mandeville Country Lodge, which has views of the Southern Alps from most bedrooms.

It's about twenty minutes drive north of Christchurch City, close to the townships of Rangiora and Kaiapoi, and State Highway One which takes you North or South convenient for heading straight for the mountains, country or coast.

Nestled in an acre of colourful flower gardens, the Lodge captures an ambience and charm of colonial yesteryear, yet it's clean, modern and fresh.
