What We Ask Of You
Your Guide To Payment
There are a number of ways you can pay us. In each case the charges will be explained to you before
you rent from us and the completed rental agreement will become a detailed GST Tax Invoice, available
at the end of your rental.
The Deposit
At the start of your rental we require a sum equivalent to total value of the rental, plus a damage
liability deposit and a fuel deposit.
Credit Cards
By far the easiest way to pay your deposit is by major credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard,
American Express, JCB and Diners Club. At the start of your rental we will take an imprint of your
credit card and we gain authorization from your credit card company for the value of the rental plus
the fuel and damage liability deposits.
Cheque
Sorry we do not accept cheques.
Cash
You can pay cash, but please be aware we will ask for a large sum to cover the deposit. We will
require additional identification from you.
Qualification
Remember, however you are paying you will need to bring your drivers licence and any voucher or
other identification that relates to your rental booking.
Please Note
All rentals are subject to the full Terms and Conditions which are detailed in
the Smartcars Rental Agreement which will be provided to you at the time of
rental.
