Pacific Horizon's modern fleet of vehicles are specially designed for seeing New Zealand and are equipped and serviced for your personal comfort and peace of mind.

The Pacific Horizon fleet are updated and maintained at regular intervals to ensure you are driving the most modern, best condition vehicle possible with many of our vehicles being brand new this year. Our modern fleet all have power steering to give you a safe, reliable and economical way to discover New Zealand in comfort.

Every vehicle runs on diesel fuel to keep your fuel costs low.

A courtesy shuttle will transfer you between the Airport, Ferry terminal, or Hotel before and after your holiday (Between normal office hours 8am-6pm)

When you take delivery you are given a familarisation tour and are shown how to get the best out of your vehicle and your New Zealand Holiday.

You will also be given a Complimentary Starter Pack containing road maps, camp ground guides, driving safety hints and brochures of scenic interest.

Should you encounter any problems on your adventure through New Zealand, we are on call with a 24 hour free-phone help line. Our nationwide network of dealers and support crew means you are never far away from rapid response help should you need it.

All Pacific Horizon vehicles are presented in First class condition with the oldest vehicle in our fleet being 4.5 Years. Approximately 20% of our fleet will be brand new this Year.


For an additional fee per day reserve one of our newest vehicles which have the following features:

• Under 18 months of age (calculated from date of 1st hire)
• Cab air conditioning
• Low mileage
• CD player

(does not apply to the Eclipse 2)

Pacific Horizon has 4 fully operational terminals allowing one-way hire at no extra cost meaning flexability with no backtracking. The Terminals are located located close to Major airports and attractions in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Picton.


We give you a choice of four starting points for your holiday.

Auckland, Wellington, Picton or Christchurch.

You can return your vehicle to our conveniently located depots in either Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.

• We do not charge for Road Diesel tax
