While New Zealand Motorcycle Rentals is the largest and most respected rental company in New Zealand, there is nothing old-fashioned about our products or the service we provide.


We have two Rental Shops in Downtown Auckland and Central Christchurch. The shops specialise solely in motorcycle rentals and tours. These locations make it easy to do a one way trip between the shops. There is a relocation fee on one way hires.


We offer free airport transfers for overseas clients. A shuttle bus will bring you from the airport to our Rental Shop.


We are open 7 days. Monday - Saturday 9.00am to 5.30pm, Sunday 10.00am to 3.00pm.

During May, June, July, August and September our depots are closed on weekends, but can be open by arrangement.


Between the shops are a good range of the latest model touring and enduro machines, making the largest number of rental motorcycles available in New Zealand.

For the season we have BMW, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Harley Davidson Motorcycles available. We have chosen only the very best models for comfort, reliability, and suitability for New Zealand road conditions. All our rental motorcycles are maintained by full qualified technicians and are New Zealand government Transport certified for rental vehicles.

All our motorcycle tours and motorcycles have been carefully prepared for your maximum enjoyment.

We like to give you the best possible service so one of our well trained, hand picked, experienced guides will run the tours. We also have a German speaking guide available for most tours. Our Christchurch shop has a Japanese guide also. On all fully guided tours we have a support van which can carry any extra luggage you may have.

We have a great range of accessories for hire to make your motorcycle adventure more enjoyable.

These can be requested when you book or you can choose the gear required on arrival at one of our rental locations. Most of our hire gear is replaced new each season.

Just a phone call away - we are available 24 HR a day, 7 days a week to give assistance or guidance to any of our clients. In the unlikely event of a breakdown, we have nationwide dealer support to give friendly help and service.
