We operate the youngest vehicle fleet in New Zealand – the maximum age is 2.5 years. Every vehicle is kept in prime condition by a thorough maintenance checking process, undergoing a comprehensive service every time it returns to the depot. This ensures the highest quality standards are maintained and a carefree holiday is guaranteed.

The fleet is continually updated to offer high quality vehicles at all times. All KEA vehicles are designed and built in-house - the only way KEA has been able to meet its own high standards of innovation, quality and consistency.

This unique approach has created unique products and a strong appreciation by both tourists and those who purchase a KEA when they come off rental.

Our experienced customer service team will make the pickup and drop off of your campervan or motorhome a pleasant and relaxed experience. We will demonstrate the features of the vehicle, explain driving in New Zealand and assist with any queries with your itinerary.

For your assistance, we have employed highly skilled multi-lingual staff covering languages such as German, Dutch and French – predominantly German.

KEA does not charge diesel tax.

KEA does not charge one-way fee in New Zealand.

We provide a free transfer on the first and last day of your hire to/from the airport or to your hotel.

Easy-to-Read / Understand Vehicle Manual is included in the information pack in English and German. Similar information is also available in Dutch and French.

We have Depots in Auckland and Christchurch.

If you feel like freshening up before you start your holiday, we have customer shower & toilet facilities available.

We provide you with a Freephone number should you require assistance while traveling. This service is available from 8am until 10pm.

Our information pack includes detailed camping ground guides, maps, NZ traffic rules, sightseeing brochures and other valuable general information.

You will find a New Zealand Road Atlas in your glovebox for you to use on your holiday.

A sealed first aid kit is in the glove box of every vehicle. Please note if the kit is used (seal broken) a charge applies.
