All our vehicles are less than 12 months old and are long wheelbase (6.5metre) Volkswagen TD35s.

This extra length allows for toilet and shower and a roomy and comfortable double bed (1.80m X 1.70m) which folds up vertically to create a spacious interior. A bunk bed suitable for a child is easily and quickly installed.

The VW has a powerful, yet economical 2.5L diesel engine with manual transmission, power steering and air conditioning.

Your Motorhome has bed linen, a microwave, gas stove, hot and cold pressurised water and heating so you can enjoy those cold cloudless starry nights in the mountains. A 60L fridge ensures plenty of room to keep food and drinks chilled. The kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment necessary to cook up stunning meals using the finest foods, New Zealand has to offer.

A radio, cassette player, and CD player are standard equipment and a TV is available on request.

Each motorhome has a small number of books which includes the Automobile Association book of New Zealand road maps, a copy of the New Zealand road code, a number of books on New Zealand flora and fauna and of course, the guide book to the Lord of the Rings film locations.
