All vehicle rental rates are quoted and charged in NZ currency and include:

• GST (New Zealand Goods & Service Tax)
• Unlimited kilometres
• Comprehensive vehicle insurance
• 24 hour AA Roadside Assistance

Confirmation and supply is guaranteed simply upon receiving valid credit card details. A voucher/booking receipt will be issued at this time.

No deposit is required at time of booking. Rental vehicle payment to be made in full at commencement of hire. Payment can be made via Visa, Mastercard, Diners, NZ cash or Travellers cheques.

All drivers must aged 21 years or older and produce a full New Zealand driver licence or internationally recognised driver licence.

Comprehensive insurance incorporating an insurance excess liability is included.

The above mentioned liability amount is the hirers/drivers maximum responsibility in case of any damage to the hire vehicle.

This can be reduced by paying an additional daily fee incorporated into your rental rate. Please ask us for conditions.

Is held in the form of a credit card voucher/imprint up to the amount of the insurance/excess liability.

A bond refund is payable once the vehicle is cleaned (if necessary) and inspected for any damage or loss.

If a confirmed booking is cancelled within 7 days prior to commencement of hire a cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card details supplied at time of booking.

The cancellation fee is 10% of the total hire fee or one days hire fee (whichever is the greater).

Get Away Car Hire is happy to provide free pick up and/or drop off of your rental vehicle by prior arrangement to Dunedin airport or your Dunedin city accommodation.

Baby and child seats, snow chains plus ski and board roof-racks are available for hire upon request.
