All prices quoted are in NZ$ and include:

• Full comprehensive insurance
• (excess applies)
• Free mileage
• Goods & Services Tax (GST)
• One way rental charge may apply
• Prices and conditions subject to change

Bond needs to be secured before vehicle pick up.

The hire period is calculated on a calendar day basis and includes unlimited kilometers, GST and our insurance packages.

There is a minimum hire of 14 days and the rates are calculated on an Auckland-Auckland basis. On a one way rental between our depots in Auckland and Christchurch an additional fee may apply.

A 20% deposit of the total rental charge is required to secure your booking. The balance is due on uplifting your vehicle.

If a booking is cancelled the following fees apply:

• Up to 30 days before the pickup date 50% of the deposit
• 30 days to pickup date 100% of your deposit

The driver must be at least 21 years of age and must present a current national and international driver's license.

The insurance included in the daily hire charge covers damage to the hire vehicle, damage to the property of a third party and public liability, subject to the excess, road restrictions and exclusions listed below.

The hirer is responsible for (the excess) of the cost of the damage to the hire vehicle, third party property, tyre damage, overhead and underbody damage, towing and recovery costs and break in.

The excess applies to each claim, not per rental.

No excess on windscreen and windowglass damage, fire and theft.

The excess is applicable regardless of who is at fault and must be paid at the time the accident report is completed.

The excess will be refunded if BANZ Tours and Rentals LTD is successful in recovering the cost of damages from the third party.

A bond equivalent to the applicable excess is taken in form of a credit card imprint, cash, traveller cheques or bank cheques.

The following Road Restrictions do apply:

• Ninety-Mile Beach - Northland or any Beach
• All roads North of Colville township on the Coromandel Peninsula
• Skippers Road, Skippers Canyon - Queenstown
• Ball Hut Road - Mount Cook

Any other exclusions are specified in the terms of the rental agreement (e.g. the hirer, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs willfully or recklessly damages vehicle).

For any breakdowns or vehicle repairs we provide you with a nationwide free-phone backup service. You are responsible for a prior approval if any repair is required. On presenting a receipt you will be fully reimbursed. Our liability extends only to the refund of hire charges for any days of total loss of vehicle use caused through a mechanical breakdown.

We reserve the right to charge the hirer for any speeding, speed camera or parking fines, or any other associated costs.
