Ski racks or snowboard racks and snow chains are available from select locations. This equipment varies by location.

Avis has child safety seats for toddlers available upon request from most Avis locations in New Zealand. Seats must be requested at the time of reservation.

Avis provides vehicles equipped with hand controls on a request basis. Requests must be made at least 2 weeks in advance of the rental period. There will be a charge for hand controls if the duration of the rental is fewer than 7 days.
